Preemo 90.1 interview

Back Up!

Sites back up! I'm headed back to Dallas this weekend to link up with Deonis Cook for the final mix sessions of The Magic Bullet. I just left the studio and got K-Szzle's verse done for "Fly With Me". That just leaves "The Funeral", the Hash Brown produced track that sounds like it's title. I can record that last one in Dallas at Deonis' studio. Billy Sorrells put together a cover for the album that looks like he read my mind exactly before he sat down to design it. I can't wait to get this out.

Did anything get done today? It's hard to tell. I did finish my verse for "The Funeral". That's the last song for "The Magic Bullet". Jett I Masstyr produced the track and I plan to have Hash Brown perform the hook. For those of you who don't know, they're the same person. Brilliant. I really hope this EPK is ready to go in the morning. I've got a huge list that it needs to go out to. The uphill climb continues. I love my team.

A Gamble in Metropolis.

My team. It's something serious now. I knew sittin over in South Park 4 months ago that I needed to take all the great press I was getting and turn it into something concrete. I needed to create a demand. I needed to raise my stock up. The minute I realized this I was presented with an opportunity to go out of town to sell CDs at an old friends store at a mall in Spokane, WA. It was a gamble. Did I really want to leave the city that had shown me so much love? Especially now that it seemed like I had so many oppurtunities. I had a choice to make.
